Sartell residents wishing to purchase handguns are required to submit an application to the Sartell Police Department. The application is now available on-line or it can be picked up at the police department. The Sartell Police Department WILL NOT accept mailed applications. The applicant must bring the completed application form to the police department.
There is no fee for a purchase permit.
Applications may take up to three weeks to process.
Individuals wishing to apply for a CARRY GUN PERMIT must go through the sheriffs office in the county in which they reside.
