The Planning and Community Development Department provides staff support to the
Planning Commission, which serves as an advisory body to the City Council by making recommendations regarding
commercial/industrial site plans, subdivisions, special use permits, and other planning related items. The Planning
Commission consists of five residents appointed by the City Council to three year staggered terms.
The commission meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
