Flow Yoga

Breath and flow are the essential aspects of this yoga practice. As an amazing form of fitness, it integrates flexibility, strength, endurance, concentration and balance, while relieving stress and anxiety for a calming effect on the mind. All fitness levels are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat, and wear comfortable clothing.
Indoor Walking
Sartell Middle School

Walking is a highly recommended exercise for people of all ages. Community Education provides ID badges to authorize you to walk indoors in the hallways of the Sartell Middle School. Due to the type of "badge" we issue, we are unable to mail it. We ask that you stop by our office to pick up your walking badge, informational letter and 2007-2008 School Calendar. Please allow two workin days from the time we receive your registration form to process and prepare your ID badge. Any questions, please give us a call at 253-4036. This "class" is free, but please call or mail to register.

Learn safe driving habits and save on your auto insurance, too! The Driver Improvement Program consists of 8 hours of education videos and classroom discussion covering topics such as: habits, perception and attitude, tires and traction, road rage and preparing for emergencies. Great information for today’s busy roadways!

Invest a little time to prevent accidents! The Defensive Driving Refresher course features helpful advice from a professional, certified instructor. The 4 hour course is for those who have already taken the MN state approved driving course and simply
need to take the 4 hr. refresher to maintain their certification. Topics include: new laws, distracted driving, road rage, air bag safety, merging and preparing for emergencies.

Great River Bowl and Community Education are teaming up for some fun in the afternoons. Each Friday, for six weeks, we will be bowling one game, playing, cards, pool or just visiting while we enjoy coffee and treats. Invite your grandchildren to join you on Friday, March 28 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm for a special afternoon of bowling and fun!
The Big Read

The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts designed to restore reading to the center of American culture. The Big Read provides citizens with the opportunity to read and discuess a single book within their communities. Join other as we discuss Rudolfo Anaya's "Bless Me, Ultima."
