Sartell has long valued education and understood its importance in the lives of the people who call Sartell home. Sartell boasts the kind of educational choices your family is looking for. In fact, many people have moved to the Sartell area JUST because of the fantastic school system.

The Sartell-St. Stephen School District has gained a reputation as being one Minnesota's finest school systems. The wide range of educational opportunities has helped produce some of Central Minnesota's best test schools. Contributing to the areas strong support for education, as evidenced by the district's state of the art education facilities: Sartell Middle School built in 1985; Sartell High School, built in 1993 and expanded in 2003; Pine Meadow Elementary School, completed in 1999; and Oak Ridge Elementary school which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in the Fall of 2004.

The area also boasts numerous post secondary education institutions. Education and training is available at the St. Cloud Technical College just 5 minutes away, two nationally-recognized colleges - St. John's University and St. Ben's University - attract their share of Sartell residents as do St. Cloud State Universityand the Rasmussen College, just 10 minutes away, and the University of Minnesota, each just 60 minutes away.
