Development Guide
The City of Sartell welcomes your interest in the
development of residential, commercial, or industrial property. To further
that interest, it is hoped that this information will help you determine
what departments you may need to contact for assistance.
Step 1:
For major projects regarding site plans, preliminary and
final plats, rezoning, conditional use permits, variances, land use changes, and planned unit developments, you

For questions on building construction (i.e. plan details, construction techniques, building

For questions and requirements for all site plans and plats as they relate to the Fire

Step 5:
The last step is to go through the City's Development
Review Process. That begins with filling out an application for
the respective land use request and submitting all the required information
at the time of the application. The requirements and submittal information
is explained in greater detail in the following pages.
