Building Inspections
Kyle Christensen is the appointed Building Official
for the City of Sartell. Kyle can be reached
at city hall at (320) 258.7308. If you have questions on receiving a building permit or building code questions, give him a call at (320).258.7308. A 24-hour notice
is required to schedule inspections. Inspections can be scheduled by Jill Hollenkamp by calling (320)258-7317. Building permit applications can be dropped off at Sartell City Hall. It will take about 5-7business days for processing. Building permits for Siding, re-roofing, window or door replacement can be purchased at Sartell City Hall and are issued at the time of application. The cost for these types of permits is $50.50 each.
We have also
included the code requirements for:
Accessory buildings under 120 square feet, fences, unattached decks, permanent pools and parking pads to not require a building permit. However, they do require a zoning permit to ensure proper setbacks. Zoning permits can be down loaded for your convenience. Please call the Planning Department with any questions relating to the zoning permit requirements (320.258.7316).
